Why do laws exist — and why does everyone, even politicians, need to respect them?

Have you ever stopped to think about why there are rules at school, at home, or in traffic? They're not just there to be annoying! Rules—or laws, when we're talking about the whole of society—exist to ensure that everyone can live with more justice, safety, and respect. Without them, it would be chaos: everyone doing what they want, without thinking about others.

Now, imagine this: if one person decides they're no longer going to follow the laws because they "think they can," others will want to do the same. And then... that's it! Everything starts to get out of control. It's like in a soccer game: if one player decides they don't need to respect the rules and starts kicking everyone, the game turns into a mess. That's why laws apply to everyone—including those in power.

Oh, and speaking of power... did you know that even presidents, mayors, and representatives have to obey the Constitution? It's like the "mother rule" of our country, the one that protects everyone's rights. When someone in government tries to override it, as if it were more important than the laws, it's time to watch and act. Because democracy isn't about giving power to someone to do whatever they want—it's about giving power to the people to choose who will work for them.

And here's an important warning: politics is not a football team!

There shouldn't be blind "cheering" for politicians, as if they were idols who never make mistakes. A politician is neither a hero nor a villain—they are a public servant. This means they work for us, with our tax money. Therefore, they need to be held accountable, not praised. When we treat politicians like "celebrities," they start to think they control the people... but in reality, it's the people who control them!

Furthermore, no one has the right to force another person to think the same way politically. Everyone has the right to their own opinion—and also the duty to respect that of others. What cannot happen is for us to divide ourselves into "rival groups" defending politicians who live the good life at our expense, while schools, hospitals, and streets are poorly maintained.

The most important thing is: united, we are stronger.

When the people unite to demand transparency, honesty, and serious work, politicians understand that they are there to serve, not to be served. Demanding accountability is not being against something—it's being responsible. It's ensuring that the money we pay in taxes is used to improve everyone's lives, and not to increase the power of a few.

So, remember:

✅ Laws exist to protect everyone.

✅ Politicians also have to obey the rules.

✅ Politics is not about cheering — it's about citizenship.

✅ Respect differing opinions, but call out wrongdoings.

✅ Together, we can demand a fairer country!

So, are you ready to be a part of this change?
